Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Ideal Cycle & Toys (Pty) Ltd t/a Ideal World (“Ideal World”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order through www.smartgames.co.za or via an authorised Ideal World representative or distributor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set out in this Policy.
1. SHIPPING SCOPE
1.1 Domestic Deliveries
We deliver to all major metropolitan areas, towns, and most regional locations across the Republic of South Africa.
2. ORDER PROCESSING
- Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received and confirmed.
- Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- During peak trading periods (e.g., promotional sales, holiday seasons), processing times may be extended due to increased demand.
Ideal World reserves the right to verify payment and stock availability before dispatching any order.
3. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

Please note: All delivery timelines are estimates. Factors such as courier delays, adverse weather, strikes, or customs inspections may cause unforeseen delays. Ideal World shall not be liable for delivery delays beyond our reasonable control.
4. SHIPPING FEES
- Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your order subtotal.
- Free delivery promotions, if applicable, will be clearly displayed on our Website and are valid only within the Republic of South Africa.
5. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email or SMS containing your tracking number and courier details.
You may track your shipment directly on the courier’s online platform using the tracking link provided.
6. DELIVERY MANAGEMENT AND ISSUES
6.1 Delivery Address
Please ensure all delivery details provided at checkout are complete and accurate. Ideal World will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
6.2 Missed Deliveries
If the courier is unable to complete delivery, a second attempt may be made or the parcel may be held at the nearest depot for collection. Uncollected parcels may incur additional redelivery charges.
6.3 Lost or Damaged Parcels
In the rare event that your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, please notify us within seven (7) days of receipt by contacting online@idealworld.co.za. We will assist in lodging a claim with the courier.
6.4 Restricted Deliveries
We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Certain large, oversized, or bulky items may be subject to delivery restrictions or additional surcharges. Such limitations will be communicated prior to dispatch by Ideal World.
7. RISK AND OWNERSHIP
Risk in the products passes to the customer upon dispatch from our warehouse or upon handover to the courier. Ownership of goods transfers only once handed over to the courier by Ideal World.
